فعل حال کامل جاری

Definition Present Perfect Continuous Tense

It describes such things or actions which were started in the past but they still continue.Its time is mentioned in two ways such as:

مقرره مدت
Point of time (fix time)
                                      مقررہ ٹائم
period of time(not mentioned time) 

For fix time we use “since”  For period of time we use “for”

 میں کسی کام کا کرنا یا ہونا زمانۂ ماضی سے شروع ہوکر زمانۂ حال تک جاری رہتا ہے.

اس میں وقت مقررہ یا وقت عیر مقررہ کا ذکر ہوتا ہے.

وقت مقررہ کے لیے since اور

وقت عیر مقررہ کے لیے For لگاتے ہیں

وقت مقررہ

صبح ،دوپہر ،شام 

پیر ،منگل ،بدھ وغیره 

جنوری ،فروری،مارچ وغیره 

٣ بجے سے ٨ بجے سے وغیره وغیره

١٩٩٠یا ١٩٨٠وغیره ایک ہفتہ ،تین ہفتے وغیره

 وقت عیر مقررہ 

دو دن ، پانچ دن وغیره

 تین مہینے ، پانچ سال وغیره
دو گھنٹے ،چار گھنٹے ،دس منٹ وغیره

اس tense 

میں فقرے کے آخر میں رہا ہے ،رہی ہے ،رہے ہیں وغیره آتا ہے اس کے ساتھ وقت مقررہ یا غیر مقررہ کا بھی ذکر ہوتا ہے.

Formation of present perfect continuous tense

We use subject( I,we,you,they,he,she,it and plural or singular nouns) in the start of the sentence.

Then we use the helping verb“have been”with I,we,you,they and plural nouns.

We use the helping verb “has been”with he,she,it and singular nouns.

Then we use the 1st form+ing of the verb.

After the verb we use object (if any).

We use “since”or “for” according to the sentence.

At the end of the sentence we use full stop(.)

Subject + Helping verb + 1st form of Verb+ing + Object+ since/for+time.

I + have been + doing + my work+since +Monday.

She + has been + going +to school +for +three days.

اردو فقرے کی انگریزی بنانے کے لیے سب سے پہلے فقرے کے شروع میں

subject پھر I,we,you,they ،اور plural nouns کے بعد " helping verb "have been” 

Subject he,she, it and singular nouns کے بعد
. لگاتے ہیں Helping verb “has been”
1st form کے بعد فعل کی “Has been or have been”ing کے ساتھ

  کا اضافہ کرتے ہیں اور ساتھ ہی 

 Since/for 

کے بعد ٹائم لکھ دیتے ہیں اور آخر میں فل اسٹاپ مثلا

منزہ دو گھنٹے سے پڑھ رہی ہے.

Munazah has been reading for two hours.

ہم شام تین بجے سے سو رہے ہیں.

We have been sleeping since 3 p.m.

بچے صبح سے کھیل رہیں.

Children have been playing since morning.

Formation of negative sentences of present perfect continuous tense

To make negative sentences we use “not”immediate after helping verb “has/have”

Then we use been(has not been/have not been).
Subject +helping verb+not +been +Verb 1st form+ing +Object + Since/For+Time.

فعل حال مکمل جاری کے منفی فقرے بنانے کے لیے

Helping verb (has/have)
کے فورا بعد not لگاتے ہیں.فقرے کی باقی ترتیب پہلے والی ہی رہتی ہے مثلا

استاد دو منٹ سے حاضری نہیں لگا رہے ہیں.

Teacher has not been taking roll calls for two minutes.

بلی دوپہر سے دودھ نہیں پی رہی ہے.

Cat has not been drinking milk since noon.

ہم تین دن سے چل رہے ہیں.

We have not been walking for three days.

Formation of interrogative sentences of present perfect continuous tense

To make interrogative sentences we use helping verb

(has/have)in the beginning of the sentence.And all the rest rules will be the same.

Helping verb + Subject + been +Verb 1st form+ing +Object + Since/For+Time.

Helping verb (has/have)

کو فقرے کے شروع میں لگاتے ہیں اور باقی فقرے کی ترتیب پہلے والی ہی رہتی ہے مثلا

کیا تم دو بجے سے نشانہ لگا رہے ہو 

Have you been shooting since 2 O'clock?

کیا میں ایک ماہ سے پڑھ رہی ہوں 

Have I been reading for one month?

کیا وہ ١٩٩٨ سے محنت کر رہی ہے 

Has she been working hard since 1998?
